Dry Bags

125 years of experience equipping outdoorsmen in the soggy Pacific Northwest has taught us that dry gear is a must in the outdoors. Our waterproof dry bags are built with the durability to meet that challenge season after season.

Filson waterproof dry bags are made from very sturdy 840D nylon fabric. We use nylon rather than polyester for the base fabric due its outstanding abrasion resistance. The tough material is thoroughly coated with thermoplastic polyurethane, or TPU. This coating is impervious to water and unaffected by ultraviolet light.

The RF-welded construction of Filson dry bags produces unmatched durability, with seams stronger than the original fabric, and which remain flexible in the coldest conditions. Many Filson dry bags use roll-top closures, a tried-and-true means of creating a watertight seal.
